Hi,

Thanks for your response to our house sitting advert.

In order to assess our mutual suitability I
would appreciate it if you could answer the following questions (I appreciate that some of this may have already been covered in your initial response):

1. Have you had previous house sitting
experience?
a. If yes, can you supply references from
your two most recent sits?
b. If not, what references can you supply?
2. Where is your normal place of residence?
3. Can you supply a police check? If not,
do you object to us obtaining one?
4. What is your age:
a. Under 30,
b. 30 to 50
c. 50 to 65
d. Over 65
5. Have you had any experience with farm animals (pigs, chooks, cattle)?
6. Are you available from 10/11/12 November 2009 through to the end of January 2010?
7. What people will be living with/visiting
you during the sit?
8. What pets, if any, will you be bringing?
9. The bond for utilities etc will be
$500. Will this be a problem for you?
10. Are you prepared to sign a House Sitting Agreement?

Thanks again for your interest. I look forward to receiving your response.

Best regards

XXXXX

Note: Jaye-Cee states that she has no objection to a police check, the $500 bond is OK and she is happy to sign a House Sitting Agreement

This couple were our first preference as sitters, but after advising them that they were our first choice they "dropped out" - could not be contacted on either of the phone numbers and did not respond to emails. So we went with Jaye-Cee.

Dear XXXX,

We are very interested in your house sit from Aussie House Sitters.

We are a married retired couple with family in QLD, we are fit and active and looking for a new house sit.

We can supply references and are used to looking after rural properties and all types of animals.

We are available immediately if required as we are staying at our sons in Brisbane and we have our own transport.

Should you be interested please contact us on XXXXXX today, Sunday 25th.
After today our new number will be XXXXX.

Kind regards
XXXXXXX

Note: Apart from the glib responses, this couple stated that their address was Australia, but as you can see, their email address was NZ, so we did not consider than any further.
