A phone conversation with a neighbor confirmed there was still a rung of water in each of the tanks (a total of about 12,000 litres) and the 1200 litre reserve tank was more than half full

Subject: still no water

I came to housesit with good intentions, you have left your place totally unsuitable for a housesitter, PUMP in dam not working/ not enough water in dam for it to work properly anyway. There is still no water delivery, your place as it stands is not 'habitable'without the basics. There was no mention of a possibility of not  having any water, that the irrigation pump may breakdown and it would be up to' HOUSESITTER' to restart/fix it. I CAME HERE AS A HOUSESITTER, to feed the animals and to keep your HOUSE in order and secure, For your contract to be 'vald'there needs to be the basics, so I will be contacting HOUSECARERS  with regard to that.
