well I hope you are having a wonderful holiday, able to shower, no worries, good on you!, meanwhile, I have NO WATER HERE, your garden can't be watered, your dam is empty, I CAN"T have a SHOWER until THURSDAY, thank you very much, how dare you leave your place in such a state for someone else to contend with while you are away on holiday, you do not seem to have any thought for anyone but your selves, and the audacity to ask me for money as a bond, I should be being paid to look after this MESS, in fact I insist on being paid for my services here, and want a money order from you sent to the Childers post office for $1000.,, I am outraged that you have left here without filling you water tanks, you obviously have no regard for your animals, or myself ,who has to haul water up from the lower, dam for the chooks, and water for your dog to drink, not to mention water for myself, as previously mentioned., and this is not even one week into the house/sit, answer my email,

I am sorry that the water has become a problem but in farming water is always an issue. But if no rain falls, the orchard and gardens will have to wait for that.
An airlock in a pump is fairly common happening on a farm. My apologies for expecting you to know that. If there is no water in the tanks, water is ordered from the company listed in the book C made up for you. We don’t expect you to pay for the water. I have contacted the AAA water cartage this morning to confirm a delivery to be made to you TODAY. I have paid for this by credit card today. There is no account with this company, as we only need to order water about once every 18 months.
I am sorry that you are so upset but we did buy a tank load two weeks prior to leaving, the water supply truck man will confirm that. Is the pump coming on near the laundry – it may need resetting – just switch power off and wait a few minutes and switch back on – this is possibly due to a power surge and is the electricity company – we have power surging as you saw with the dishwasher and it is a pretty common occurrence. If the pump is not working, contact Farmall again.
Please do not haul water from the lower dam – this is unnecessary as you can use the water from the pool. It’s a more practical solution – farming is all about solutions as I am sure you know.
Each of the rainwater tanks has a separate tap at ground level. Only one tank is usually turned on at a time to maximize water pressure, but if you open them all you will be able to access all three tanks. If you are unsure about how to do this, ask the guy who brings the water.
We have had trouble engaging our email from the hotel – and have just spent this morning trying to sort it out.

How do you expect animals to drink chlorinated water, would you?,I don't think so, how long is this water going to last?, and don't say it depends how much you use!! Any' normal 'person would be upset without such a basic n eed as water, the taps at the b ase of the tanks are open, all 3 of them.,This house/sit can't be over soon enough.
Notes:
Obviously the sitter was unaware that all town water is treated with chlorine, including the water that was procured to fill the tanks.
Brisbane residents' water allocation is 200 litres per person per day. So 20,000 litres should have lasted her 100 days, and the next 6,000 litres 30 days.

NOTE: This was the first of many threats to call the RSPCA – apparently this is what she did to the guy in the Northern Territory that she house sat for. As you will see from later emails there was water available both in the tanks and the bottom dam.
